It looks like it sucks. I mean, It on the other hand, looks kinda cool, (Sengoku time period and all) and it has quite a bit of good reviews. any thoughts? Any particular reason I should avoid it?

EDIT: I must admit I'm a little predisposed against it but it's been recommended to me several times. so, Yeah, Any good?

Naruto is like marmite--you love it or you hate it.

I recommend it. It starts off slow, it takes a bit of work to get into it, but it's worth it in the end. They take a while to develop the characters, but the storyline is genuinely very good and there is a lot of originality to it (considering there are so many ninja-based things out there).

I used to hate it. I sat down and watched a season straight through, though, and ended up appreciating it. You have to watch it in order. I just used to catch random episodes and think it was crap, that the same thing happened in every episode.

It depends on personal taste, but the characters do become very well-developed and the storyline can be appreciated by anyone, I think. Naruto, for a main character, takes a lot of work to love (and I still hate him), but there are a lot of reasons to love the show itself. I went into it biased too, so don't worry about that, but I was converted. Everyone's an individual, though.

Long story short: it's worth a shot. I think you'll like it, if nothing more.

Alright, I'll have to check it out. I saw some bit with a giant frog and I was all like "._. that is a giant frog. It is eating ninjas. Wtf?"

EDIT: 220 episodes! AHHHH! Why didn't you WARN me! EEP.

XD That's a summon jutsu they use... not as far-fetched as it sounds. But I can see why'd it'd be off-putting, to say the least! I thought similar things.

YES. It is massive... so make sure you have nothing better to do...

I'm not sure what your spoiler comment is referring to, either. Is that from Naruto? I might not have seen that far... I haven't seen all those episodes. I prefer Shippuden, which is a follow-up series. Wink

Oh... right. *Sweat drop* Haha. I've never tasted the stuff; I've only heard that it's love or hate. I'm not even sure it's sold in Australia.
